Mat3ra at the 73rd JSAP Spring Expo 2026 in Tokyo

From March 15 to 18, 2026, Mat3ra participated in the 73rd JSAP Spring Expo at the Ookayama Campus of the Institute of Science Tokyo. As part of one of Japan’s major applied physics events, the expo brought together a vibrant academic and industry community for four packed days of presentations, discussions, and networking.

2026年3月15日から18日まで、Mat3ra は Institute of Science Tokyo の Ookayama Campus で開催された 73rd JSAP Spring Expo に参加しました。本展示会は、日本を代表する応用物理分野の主要イベントの一つとして、多くの研究者や産業界関係者が集い、4日間にわたり発表、議論、交流が活発に行われました。

Mat3ra had its own booth at the exhibition and also supported the event’s stamp rally, helping create an engaging experience for visitors across the expo area. Throughout the event, the team introduced the Mat3ra Materials R&D Cloud to researchers, professors, students, and industry professionals interested in advanced digital tools for materials research.

Mat3ra は会場内に自社ブースを出展するとともに、イベント内で実施されたスタンプラリーも支援し、来場者にとってより魅力的な体験づくりに貢献しました。会期中、チームは材料研究向けの先進的なデジタルツールに関心を持つ研究者、教員、学生、企業関係者に対し、Mat3ra Materials R&D Cloud を紹介しました。

Over the course of the exhibition, the booth became a space for many valuable conversations about computational materials science, simulation-driven R&D, AI-enabled workflows, and the growing role of cloud technologies in accelerating research and innovation. The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect directly with members of Japan’s scientific community and exchange ideas on current challenges and future directions in materials discovery and development.

会期を通じて、ブースは計算材料科学、シミュレーション主導の研究開発、AI を活用したワークフロー、そして研究とイノベーションを加速するクラウド技術の役割について、多くの有意義な対話が生まれる場となりました。本イベントは、日本の科学コミュニティの方々と直接つながり、材料探索・開発における現在の課題や今後の方向性について意見を交わす貴重な機会となりました。

With more than 180 exhibitors and thousands of researchers presenting their work across the campus, the atmosphere throughout the event was dynamic and highly collaborative. The scale of the meeting highlighted the strong momentum in applied physics, materials science, electronics, photonics, and related research fields.

A memorable part of the experience was the campus itself. The first signs of the 2026 cherry blossom season added a distinctly seasonal backdrop to several intense and productive days in Tokyo.

180 を超える出展者と、キャンパス全体で研究発表を行う数多くの研究者が集まり、会場は終始活気にあふれ、協働的な雰囲気に包まれていました。この大規模な催しを通じて、応用物理、材料科学、エレクトロニクス、フォトニクス、および関連分野における力強い発展の流れが感じられました。

今回の体験の中でも特に印象的だったのは、会場となったキャンパスの雰囲気でした。2026年の桜の季節の始まりが、東京での充実した数日間に季節感あふれる彩りを添えていました。

‍Participation in the 73rd JSAP Spring Expo was an important opportunity for Mat3ra to strengthen its engagement with the Japanese research community and to showcase how digital, simulation-driven, and AI-enabled approaches can support faster and more connected materials R&D.
